Thank you for dropping by!
Hopefully you get what you’re looking for.. everything about baking, cooking, and of course, PUGS!
1. Who are we?
We are three sisters who have passion about cooking and baking, and of course, featuring a very gluttonous pug, who has passion in eating. Our initials are M, J and F, but for the sake of this blog, let’s just say, we are Mimi, Jojo, Frans and Mason. We were born and raised in Indonesia; currently residing somewhere in sunny California, going to school, working on our undergraduate and graduate degrees. Our kitchen is our laboratory where we experiment with new recipes/ingredients and perfecting our own recipes! Through sweet successes, failures and our little fights about who should clean up in the kitchen after all the mess, we still love each other. Oh, we are also PUG lovers if you haven’t noticed. Our little spoiled brat, Mason, is a fawn pug. He will turn 3 in April (Aries pug).
PS: Don’t be surprised by the astrological references because one of the sisters is nuts about everything astrology..
Look who’s here?
Mason when he was 4 month old. aww..
2. Why Sacchariferous, you ask?
What does it mean? Sacchariferous means containing sugar, sweet. Also indicates that we are three sweet sisters 😉 Well, two of the sisters are actually working on degrees related to chemistry, hence, sacchariferous, from saccharine.
A little bit about how we started this blog: One evening of January 2013, an epiphany struck one of the sisters, Frans. She introduced her brilliant idea about starting a food blog. Jojo was impressed, Mimi was intrigued. After a couple of weeks of gathering information, ingredients and cookwares, we finally were able to post our 1st recipe on January 11th, 2013.
Like everyone else, we’re still perfecting our recipe, trying out new methods – see what works and what doesn’t, experimenting with new ingredients.. We’re still learning and only through reflecting and positive criticisms can we grow. Therefore, feedback is greatly appreciated!
Feel free to email us if you have any questions 🙂
Thank you for reading and have fun in the kitchen!
